Po-Tay-Toes - Wisp — Baby Suri & Silk

Soft, light and beautifully fluffy, Wisp is my Baby Suri and silk yarn for adding a little cloud-like luxury to your knitting.

Made from 75% Baby Suri Alpaca and 25% Silk, Wisp has a soft halo and beautiful drape without the fuzzy, slightly prickly feel that some knitters experience with mohair. The silk core adds strength and a subtle glow, while the Baby Suri creates that gorgeous airy texture.

Use Wisp on its own for delicate, lightweight knits, or hold it together with another yarn to add softness, warmth and a beautiful halo. Pair it with a 4ply for cosy sweaters and accessories, or experiment with different bases to completely transform the finished fabric.

Each skein is hand-dyed in small batches in Ballarat.

A note about colour

I do my best to photograph colours as accurately as possible, but colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen and lighting.

As each skein is individually hand-dyed, there may be slight variations between skeins, even within the same dye lot. If you're using more than one skein in a project, I recommend alternating skeins for the most even result.
