Purrfect Sock – Hand-Dyed 4 Ply Yarn

Soft enough for next-to-skin projects and sturdy enough for everyday socks, Purrfect Sock is my go-to all-rounder.

Spun from 80% Australian Extra Fine Merino and 20% nylon, it combines the softness and bounce of fine Merino with added durability for projects that need to stand up to regular wear. With a generous 400 metres per 100g skein, it’s equally at home in socks, shawls, colourwork and lightweight garments.

Each skein is hand-dyed in small batches in Ballarat, so you may see subtle variations between skeins — part of what makes hand-dyed yarn special.

Machine washable. For the best life from your hand-dyed yarn, I recommend a gentle wool cycle and drying flat.

A Note About Hand-Dyed Yarn

Every skein is dyed by hand, so colour can vary slightly from skein to skein. If your project requires more than one skein, alternating skeins every few rows will help blend any variations beautifully.
